Cat Corsini designs and manufactures special automatic systems for industrial applications in particular for the leading companies in the production of automatic machines for the packaging market. Our Company supports its clients throughout their projects, starting from the concept development to the supply of equipment.
Our responsibility towards our clients is extended throughout the after-sales service including follow-up, technical assistance and spare parts provision.
C.A.T. di Corsini is established in 1972 by his current onorary president, Mr Giuseppe Corsini. The growth of the company is due to the love of his founder for mechanic, technology, innovation and new challenging markets, starting from the telecommunication, trough the new media and the transport fields to reach his last but not least love: the packaging.
Mr Giuseppe Corsini starded working whit mechanical parts when he was only 14 years old, and after few years in the motor field, during which he also worked for the FS1, in 1963 he established his first company thanks to his first creation: a patented registered telephone that dials automatically the number also in direct-dialing call.
From 1963 to 2003 Mr Corsini established 4 different companies:
- 1972 | CAT di Corsini.
- 1983 | CAT Progetti Srl for the design, manufacturing and installation of electrical and electronical cabinets and panels.
- 1987 | CAT System Srl for the production of special and standard automatic machines.
- 1997 | CAT Multimedia Srl starts its activity for the development of multimedia software.
With the new millennium a renovation occurred and, assembling the different skills and know how in an unique company, the CAT Group is established under the name of C.A.T. di Corsini G. & C. SpA with its 4 divisions: AUTOMATION (ex CAT System); SYSTEM; MULTIMEDIA (Ex CAT Multimedia); and Research and Development.
The unique “know how” acquired in 30 years in different fields and the continuous investment made in research had resulted in the creation of automation machines that are located around the world, as a pure example: palletising systems for cigarette blanks installed in India, Indonesia, Austria etc., palletising systems for cases installed in Italy and Europe, cash processing systems installed in Europe, stackers and bundling systems etc.
Today the passion for technology and mechanics is still the main ingredient that makes this company outstanding.
The son of Mr Corsini Giuseppe, Mr Ivano Corsini, is taking care of the family business, and together with a team of 30 employees, is looking foward to achieve new challenging goals and markets.
In 2011 CAT will open two new branches in the Middle east and USA.
